The India Pen Show upcoming will be conducted on 2nd and 3rd Feb 2019 at Nehru Center, Mumbai. The Show is a two phased event. Phase 1 will be a tribute to Kaifi Azmi (A three-hour approximate session which will include an audio video tribute, Kaifi Azmi Pen Launch, prizes to contest winners, felicitating Special guests and sponsors among other things).
The Pen Show will be paying tribute to Shri Kaifi Azmi (renowned urdu poet, writer, fountain pen user and collector – commemorating his 100th birth anniversary). The Pen Show will be inaugurated by Shabana Azmi and Javed Akhtar. We will be organising Calligraphy sessions and doodle workshops parallelly through the event for enthusiasts who would want to get introduced.
- The Show will have ink station, paper station, calligraphy corners, nib grinding service and special kid’s section to introduce them to the hobby of writing with a fountain pen.
- The show will be hosted by Bhawana Somaaya.
