On the 95th birth anniversary of legendary Urdu poet Kaifi Azmi, different programs in different part of the country will be held on 14th January 2015. They are:
In Lucknow –
“Kaifi Ki Shaksiyat Aur Shayri”
A seminar on Kaifi Azmi, where a video film “Kaifi ki Ghazal Begum Akhtar ki awaaj mein” will be shown.

Nishatganj, Lucknow.
In Mumbai –
“Ek Shaam Kaifi Ke Naam”
Music and poetry in an open house where artists of repute and newcomers will pay their tribute to the Legend Kaifi Azmi.
Time: 4 to 7 pm
Venue: 25 Janki Kutir, Juhu, Opp Prithvi Theatre, Mumbai
In Mijwan –
On the grounds of the Kaifi Azmi Girls Inter College, IPTA Azamgarh will do a play against religious fundamentalism, girls from Kaifi Azmi School will do an anti dowry skit. Kaifis belongings will be displayed in an exhibition. In the presence of luminaries.
